Terms of use
1. About this platform
NURA AFRICA is a technology-enabled insurance distribution venture under development. Insurance products are subject to availability, applicable regulatory requirements, and arrangements with licensed insurance companies. Underwriting, policy issuance, and claims decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant licensed insurer.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. Your NURA ID identifies you to our team; it is not a password and should never be treated as one. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to your account.
3. Information you give us
Applications rely on the answers and documents you provide. You agree that the information you give is accurate and complete. Inaccurate information can make cover invalid once real insurer integrations are live.
4. Payments and issuance
A completed payment does not by itself put cover in place. Payment is verified and a policy is then issued. Your policy status in the app is the authoritative record of whether cover is active.
5. Renewals
We do not renew cover automatically. We send reminders before a renewal date and you choose whether to continue.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access records that are not yours, interfere with the platform, or use it for unlawful purposes. Access to records is checked on every request and sensitive actions are logged.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as our arrangements with licensed insurance companies develop. Material changes will be communicated on this website or in the app.
